Good morning and happy Monday everybody!! I can’t believe that we’re heading into the third full week of September. Summer flew by, and I am so excited for fall. The weather has been in the high 70s to low 80s this past week, but the humidity has been insane. I found a Christmas instagram profile, and all of their posts made me SO EXCITED for Christmas. I am trying to not rush through fall and Thanksgiving this year, but if you love Christmas time like I do, I’ll link their profile here for you to check out. You won’t regret it!
Monday

Kyle gifted me the devotional Strong by Lisa Bevere for my birthday this year, and I finally started it this morning. I really loved the first devotional, and I am excited to keep reading it.
I can’t let the leftover donuts from the weekend go to waste, right?? I made an iced coffee using the black Stok coffee and a little half and half. I also took my vitamins. I am currently taking fish oil, turmeric, CoQ10, biotin, ginseng, and a women’s multivitamin.

After work, I did a leg work out outside on the deck and then Chance and I went on a 2 mile walk. My work out is below! Please remember, I am not a personal trainer or ANYTHING like that. These are just work outs I throw together using exercises I like and some that I learn from women I follow on Instagram. Whenever I use one of their workouts, I will always tag them.
- 4 x 10 Sumo Squats
- 4 x 10 RDLs
- 4 x 10 Reverse Lunges (10 each leg)
- 4 x 10 Elevated Glute Bridges
After I showered, I made a salad with leftovers from the weekend for dinner, packed my lunch, packed my work bag, and picked out my clothes for the next day.

I then spent a few hours working my part time job before heading to bed. Kyle and I also talked for a while on the phone since he was at the hospital late. Then it was time to sleep!
Tuesday
Funny story. I was supposed to go to the office to work today, but I left my keys in Kyle’s car over the weekend and didn’t realize it until he was gone for clinicals! Another reason why I am so thankful to be able to work from home.
Bible study on Tuesday morning was wonderful like always! There is something so special about a group of women gathering together to pray, learn, vent, laugh, cry, etc. I am so thankful for it. If you want to join us (which you totally should), I’ll link the details here! If you have any questions, please let me know!
I’ll link my favorite bible ever here and the bible tabs that I use and love here.

Ignore how much my car needs a good washing, but I wanted to share this magnet my aunt and uncle sent me. We lost my cousin to suicide in 2019, and September is Suicide Awareness month.
They also included these cards with the magnet, and I wanted to include them here. We truly never know what someone else might be going through, and the words we use could literally save their life. I love that my aunt and uncle are trying so hard to share what they have learned from Nolan’s life and death as a way to help others and spread awareness.
Chance and I went on a 1 mile run after work, and then I made a big smoothie for dinner. I blended together milk, frozen banana slices, frozen strawberries, and vanilla protein powder. It was delicious and hit the spot.
Chance and I made it home from our run just in time! The rain started shortly after and hasn’t stopped since it feels like.
I am trying to get back into drinking my bedtime tea in the evenings so I fixed myself a cup before heading upstairs to work for a few hours. I like to mix the Yogi Bedtime, Kava, and Lemon Ginger packets.
Wednesday

I have started sharing more scripture and Jesus talk on my Instagram. My plan is to share a verse every Wednesday, and I started today. If you don’t follow me and want to, I’ll link my Instagram here!
Today was a pretty chill rest day for Chance and I. It rained almost the whole day, so when it stopped for a few minutes, Chance and I headed out for a quick walk.

I ordered Chipotle for dinner and worked for a few hours. I LOVE their Whole 30 Bowls. I get mine with lettuce, chicken, pico, guacamole, and cheese. Seriously so good.
Thursday
Chance and I started out our day with a 1 mile walk before getting to work.
After work, I did an arm work out in the garage and then took Chance on a 2 mile walk. I am going to need bigger weight soon because the weights we have are ALMOST too light. Which is super exciting!! Especially for my arms because I used to have zero upper arm strength before I started lifting.
Kyle has been on a late shift at work all week so he sent me one of my favorites- wings, side salad, and and fried pickles for dinner! Chance was trying to look extra cute so he could get some.
Our days this week looked almost exactly the same! After dinner, I worked for a few hours, drank my tea, and talked to Kyle before going to sleep.
Friday
Clean sheet day!! I threw our sheets in the washer before starting work. I also took the Eufy upstairs to clean all the carpets. It does such a good job and is so easy. If you don’t have one yet, I HIGHLY suggest saving for one. I’ll link the one we have here! It works great for pet hair, too. For our bedrooms and Kyle’s office, I just place the Eufy in there and close the door so it is sure to clean the whole room before moving on to the next one. If you want to just let it roam with the doors open, it does fine too! I just like to do one room at a time.

I ordered our groceries for the week and picked them up today. It saves us so much time, and if there is anything specific I want to pick out myself, I just run in and pick it up after they bring out the rest of my groceries. I picked up some ingredients I needed for smoothies, some fruit and pretzels for snacks, veggies for salads, english muffins, eggs, and bacon for breakfasts, a spaghetti squash and potstickers for some dinners this week, and I stocked up on my favorite cold brew.

After work, I did a full body work out and stretched for a while. Poor Chance, it rained so much this week so he was cooped up a lot more than usual.

Kyle got out of the hospital early tonight so he picked up Mexican for dinner! Shay sent me this cup for my birthday a few years ago, and it’s perfect for vodka sodas. I add a TON of fresh lime juice so it’s extra sour 😀
Saturday

Kyle and I had appointments to get our flu shots in the morning, and we picked up donuts on the way home. Shipley’s in Hendersonville makes the best donuts EVER. Don’t let mayhem from COVID keep you from getting your flu shot if you can! We were able to set up an appointment at our Walgreen’s pharmacy, and it was super quick and easy.
Then we headed to my brother and sister in law’s house for our niece and nephew’s birthday party. It was such a fun time. It rained almost the entire day, but that did not stop those kids from having a blast in the bounce house, hitting the piñatas, and eating all the cake. We had a great time with family and celebrating the lives of some of the kiddos who bring so much light to our lives.
