I woke up on Saturday, made some coffee, and finished the chores that I started on Friday. All the laundry was ready to be folded and put away so I got at it! I also made the bed with clean sheets and washed our comforter.
I needed to get out of the house for a bit so I went to Big lots and Home Goods. Big Lots had trees on mega sale, and Home Goods had amazing stuff for the home.

The two little trees came in a package together, and the tall skinny one in our bedroom came separately. I love them so much! I am loving the flocked look this year, and I wanted to have a few trees that we can reuse each year since we always get a real one for our main tree. There is something so cozy about having a tree in our bedroom. I ended up moving it to a different spot and fixed up the tree skirt which I’ll show in my Christmas tour! The little ones are in our dining room and the front room/ my office.
I found the jewelry display, silicone bags, and salt and pepper shaker at Home Goods and the water bottle at Big Lots. I wanted some plain salt and pepper shakers for the table, and I got the water bottle for Kyle for clinicals.
Our Hello Fresh meals were delivered while I was gone, and I got my monthly subscription from Coffee Over Cardio. I am SO excited to try this one- I bet it is going to be delicious. It smells amazing. Remember, use code 10Miriamleigh for 10% all your orders!

I made soup from Hello Fresh for dinner, and it was the perfect cold weather comfort food. It was super easy and quick to make and had minimal clean up.
After dinner, Kyle, Chance, and I went to a light show, and it was amazing. The show was 2.5 miles of synchronized lights to music, and it brought me so much joy. We just rode in our car throughout the whole thing, and it was the perfect way to get in some Christmas cheer while still social distancing. It was called The Dancing Light of Christmas, and it was in Lebanon, TN. It’s usually $25/car, but we got in free because they were running a special for healthcare wokers which was so nice.

We got donuts on Sunday morning and watched The Santa Clause. Kyle then headed to study group, and I did some things around the house. It was mainly a lazy Sunday for me. 🙂
