Good morning, everybody! It’s been a beautiful fall weekend here, and I hope you are having amazing weather as well. It’s so good for the soul. I’m picking up this recap from Wednesday, and you can read about the beginning of the week here.
Wednesday
I have gotten out of the habit of drinking my greens every day, and I can tell by the way I feel. This week, I made sure to drink my greens every morning before I made my coffee. I get zero money from them for saying this, it’s my true opinion! I’ve linked them here. I know they are a little pricey, but I wouldn’t recommend them if they weren’t 100% worth it. To get a little personal, I have struggled with chronic, terrible constipation for years. I’ve had to take lots of harsh OTC medications that are only a temporary fix, but ever since starting my greens, they are all I need to stay regular. Okay, enough poop talk. 🙂

I’ve been incorporating a few new skin products into my every day routine. I have put a lot of work into my skin the last few years, and I have seen a lot of improvement. The Cicapair serum is light weight and helps even out my complexion without being a heavy concealer. The pore perfecting serum is the newest addition to my routine, but I have seen a huge difference with how my pores look all day, and it gives a little dewy look to my skin which I love. The eye gel has helped my dark under eyes SO MUCH. It doesn’t matter if I had the best night’s sleep ever, I will still have dark circles.
Once I got to work, I looked at my schedule and noted any updates. Then I had my coffee, applesauce, and verb bar and read my devotional. This is pretty much my routine every morning, and it’s the perfect start to my day.
I already broke my “only dress comfy on Fridays” rule this week! haha But I still got all my steps in by walking around the floor multiple times during the day.
I had veggies and hummus, Siete chips, and a turkey stick (not pictured) for lunch today! Also my vitamins! Every day. I like to wait until lunch so I have enough food in my stomach.

When I got home, Chance and I went to the park and completed another day of Couch to 5K.
I had applegate chicken nuggets again for dinner tonight. They are SO GOOD. I also made a little side salad and had a few cheese slices.
Thursday

For breakfast today, I had cottage cheese, fruit, and my vitamins while I read my devotional.
I brought back the sweated and jeans look for the day and had the same lunch as I did yesterday. These lunch bags are one of my favorite recent buys, and I get my turkey sticks and siete chips from Thrive Market.
I had an arm day at the gym after work followed by a 2.5 mile walk around the neighborhood with Chance. I also like walking on the treadmill at an incline and the stairstepper, but I prefer walking the hills with Chance. I was feeling a little anxious today, I’m not sure why, but I felt so much better after my walk.
After Kyle sent me on my walk because he knew it would make me feel better, he went to bdubs and picked up dinner. We took it out to the porch to eat while watching How I Met Your Mother. Perfect end to the evening.
Friday

I can’t believe that I almost forgot that Full Body Chills came back on October 1st! Full Body Chills is a podcast done by the same people who created Crime Junkies. They write and read scary stories in podcast form and release a new episode every day until Halloween! It was so fun last year, so I am so pumped for it this year. It’s officially spooky season.

Breakfast was a verb bar, fruit, and cottage cheese. Lunch was left over wings!

I wore the exact same outfit from Wednesday except a different under shirt! So comfy and makes it feels like fall.
My order from Alani Nu came in today! I LOVE their energy drinks- the Arctic White is my favorite. They are coming out with watermelon flavor soon, and I am READY for it. Also, most of their flavors are sold out on their site, but GNC still has a lot stocked.

Low quality picture, high quality night. Kyle made is moscow mules, and we started a new show on Hulu called Monsterland. Overall, it’s been really good. Some parts are a little too weird for me, but I am still enjoying it! We are only two episodes in so I’ll let you know when we finish it. 🙂
Saturday

Kyle picked up donuts for breakfast from Shipley’s, and we enjoyed them on the porch this morning.

After donuts, I started and finished most of our chores and picked up our groceries. Remember, if someone has to wear a mask to come out to your car to bring you groceries, to go orders, etc., it’s respectful for you to wear a mask too if they have to come to your window. I am guilty of not doing this for a while, but once I thought about it, I realized it’s definitely the right thing to do.

MY HELLO FRESH BOX CAME TODAY! I am so excited to start getting these meals again, and the ones for this week look so good.
I spent the rest of the afternoon cutting up fruits and veggies and finishing cleaning up the house. I also packed my gym bag for the week and packed my lunch for Monday just to have it done.

Kyle and I ended the night watching UFC and playing Scrabble.
Sunday

We began the day facetiming with Kyle’s parents and drinking coffee. Ever since we moved, we make sure to facetime Kyle’s parents 2-3 times a month if not every week just to catch up and check in. It has really helped the transition for both of us, and I really enjoy our weekly talks.
I also made more homemade granola for Kyle. I like to use gluten free oats, and I omit any nuts but this is the recipe I mostly go by!
We picked up pumpkins today at this cute little pumpkin patch close to our house, and I loved all these mini pumpkins! So cute.
We spent the rest of Sunday at Daniel and Cassie’s house watching football, eating food, and playing with all the kiddos. My phone stayed in my purse all evening, and I didn’t miss it one bit.

I have been watching Chrisley Knows Best lately and it is so funny.
I was at our local Big Lots the other day and they had a ton of the Alani Nu energy drinks and I got the Cosmic Stardust (I think that’s the name!!!) and it was good!
I love dressing up for Halloween 🎃
Clue was one of my absolute favorites growing up! Love the quality time playing games can bring. I’m so glad you liked it!! The arctic white is my favorite, but I like that one too! And dressing up for Halloween is the absolute BEST!
Sounds like you had a great week. Love that you are still loving the Verb Energy bars. I am still a bit hesitant to try them because while I love coffee not sure I would love these bards. I am also going to check out the Energy Drinks they look yummy!
1. What’s your favorite board game? I actually prefer card games like Uno or Skipbo.
2. What show are you watching right now? I just started watching Rosewood at night before bed and then during the day while I am working I have been watching Hotel Impossible.
3. What’s your favorite fall festivity? Totally decorating the interior and exterior of the house! <3
I totally understand. I don’t like many granola bar type things so I was surprised how much I liked them! If you’re a watermelon lover, Alaninu is supposed to be coming out with a watermelon flavor energy drink soon 😁😁😁
I’ll have to check out those shows! I haven’t watched either of them yet.
