Good morning everybody! I hope your week is off to a great start, and you get everything done today that you need to. This week was pretty lowkey for me, but I also got a lot of things done and have some exciting news! Let’s get into the recap..
Monday
Morning views! I did my devotional and start today journal while eating cantaloupe and granola. I also drank my greens and took my vitamins before getting ready for the day.
Grocery day! I have been on a pineapple kick lately, but this one was a disappointment! It wasn’t ripe at all. Better luck next time! I also picked up some paper goods because Kyle’s family is coming to visit for Fourth of July. We’re so excited!

I had leftover fajitas from the night before for lunch. It was perfect while meal prepping.

Kyle has been wanting something different for breakfast so I decided to try making egg muffins. They turned out so well! I mixed 10 eggs, spinach, shredded colby jack cheese, and bacon. I fried the bacon and let it cool before mixing it in. Then I baked them at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes. I cooked them until a toothpick came out clean so it might be different with your oven. I baked them in these silicone muffin tins because they can be in the oven, microwave, and fridge which makes it super easy to warm up every morning. They are also great for separating your food in pyrex containers when you pack lunches for work or school.

Walk time! Chance and I headed out for a 3 mile walk in the afternoon heat. I was a sweaty mess, but it felt so good to get some movement in.

I listened to this episode of Girls Night, and it was so good!! So encouraging and sweet for anybody trying to get pregnant or thinking about ever getting pregnant. Also Stephanie is such a sweet soul, and I love listening to her.

It did not take Chance long to realize that our vents are on the floor at this house, and he takes every chance he can to use them to cool down!

I cooked ground beef and zucchini on the stove, and Kyle put together some salads for us. Tessamae’s Green Goddess dressing is my all time favorite!
Tuesday

I did my same morning routine but moved to the front porch this time so I could admire my flowers. They’re coming along!!
We headed out for another walk after breakfast! Chance made it with me for the first 2.5 miles, but I could tell he was struggling in the heat so I called Kyle to pick him up. He brought me a knife since Chance wouldn’t be with me. I guess you can never be too careful! I finished 4 miles.
I listened to this episode of Manifest and this episode of Crime Junkie on my walk. These two always keep me entertained and on my toes.
I love a clean house! I spent the morning cleaning and getting all my chores done for the week. It’s one of the best feelings.
I drank my magnesium water and had some sunflower seeds as a snack while I cleaned. Then I made a breakfast smoothie before heading out for my other errand! This is the same smoothie I have been having for weeks. It had frozen blueberries, chia seeds, spinach, and oatmilk.

So I got some pretty exciting news today. I got a job!! I will be working from home as a nurse with a company who helps find qualified patients for clinical trials. I am so excited to start. It’s only part time right now, but I am hoping to transfer to full time in the future. So because of that, I headed out to get some new things for the house! I didn’t get anything too crazy since I haven’t even started yet, but it was still fun to get some new decorations in the house.

Dinner was steak from the grill and green beans!
Wednesday
Morning devotionals on the deck are the best. I got the tray and succulent pot from Big Lots yesterday! I think it adds so much to the table and deck area.

I refuse to waste pineapple! It began getting extremely humid outside so I moved inside to eat breakfast.
CPR renewal time! Thankfully, the AHA offers most of the class online so I could get it done pretty quickly. I then made an appointment to get checked off on the skills, and I’ll be done! It’s a great way to do it.

It had been a MINUTE since a McDonald’s run so when I had to run out for something from the store today, I made a pit stop. It was amazing!
Dinner was salmon baked in the oven and green beans followed by a shake from Sonic! The strawberry cheesecake shake is amazing.
Thursday

I woke up on Thursday craving to go on a run. It felt so good, and I am excited to be pumped up about running again. Sometimes you just have to give your body a break from things and change it up. After my run, I worked with my booty band on my legs and arms.
I am up to drinking 3 glasses of magnesium water every day, and I have seen a HUGE difference in my headaches, dizziness, and muscle aches. It’s so easy and cheap to do, and I highly recommend it.
I had the same smoothie as earlier in the week. It’s my favorite right now for sure! I also did my devotional and worked on some job stuff.
Lunch was random, but those are my favorite! If you are a pickle lover, try putting some Everything But The Bagel seasoning on them. It is SO GOOD.
Greens and sweet puppy cuddles. What more could a girl need?

I posted some new items on my Poshmark today! If you want to check it out, I’ve linked my profile here. Some of the dresses are my all time favorites, but they just don’t fit well anymore.

After Kyle took (and aced) two midterms today, we went to a local bank to open an account. Our bank in Indiana does not have any branches in TN so we had to switch! We decided to go into a local Mexican restaurant for dinner, and it did not dissappoint.
Friday
I went on another run this morning, and then took my vitamins with a glass of magnesium water.

I ate the same smoothie once I got home from my run and then got cleaned up! I had to go into Nashville for my CPR skills check off this morning.
But my car had other plans… I blew a tire on the interstate on my way to CPR. It was awful! It was so loud and terrifying. I am thankful I was able to pull over, even on a busy interstate, and that Kyle could come get me. He put the spare on and then drove it to get a replacement tire. He had me take his car back because I was pretty shook up and ready to be at home. It was also terrifying watching him change the tire next to all that traffic. Yes, he made me stay in his car. I’m thankful we’re all ok! I didn’t do much the rest of the day and was thankful that I didn’t have anything I had to be at. Well, besides CPR. I emailed my instructor once I safely pulled over, and she was so understanding and nice about it.
Saturday
Same breakfast, same routine. What can I say? I’m a creature of habit.

I made it safely to and back home from CPR today! I took Kyle’s car just in case. haha The instructor got me in and out in 10 minutes.

After I got home from CPR, I laid down because my head was bothering me. I felt much better when I woke up! I drank my greens and got ready for our anniversary dinner! It is INSANE that we will be married 1 year on Monday. Best year of my life for sure.

We went to a brazilian steak house called Rodizio’s Grill for dinner, and it was AMAZING! Our waitress brought us bowls of every single side that they had plus appetizers. Then the meat started! The waiters brought around skewers of all different types of meat and fish to the table for us to choose from, and every single one was amazing. This is by far the most fun restaurant I have ever been to, and we had a blast! Then they brought us flan and sang to us for our anniversary! How sweet is that? SUCH a good night.

This picture is terrible quality, but Nashville is so beautiful! Our restaurant was downtown so we walked for a little bit to enjoy the views, get a feel for the place, and move after all that food! 10/10 perfect night.

After we got home, I rushed outside to take a picture of the new lights we hung on the deck earlier this week. I love them so much and think they add so much to our little area.
Sunday
Today was a super chill day! We slept in and relaxed most of the day. Kyle got a lot of studying done, and I organized my office more and hung up a few more things around the house! More pics to come.

WOO HOO!!! Congrats on your JOB!! That must be so reassuring to know that you at least have a source of income coming in again. Also congrats on your 1 year anniversary. Its an exciting week for you. I have to go and get a new Driver’s License tomorrow morning and that means a 1:45am wake up thanks to the backlash from COVID. If I am not up that early I won’t get one of the tickets required to take the Written the test (which is required to transfer my license from IL to MN). p.s. I tried to leave a comment on your last post and I don’t think it went through. Tried to see if you could shoot me an email if you got a chance. gogirl001us@Yahoo.com
Thank you, Lindsay!! I am SO SORRY that you have to get up that early and go through all that. I hope it all went smoothly, and you got out of there quick!
