Happy Monday Everybody! I hope your weekends were full of rest, relaxation, and lots of laughs. My week was extremely uneventful just like my weekend, and that hasn’t happened for me in a long time!
Monday
Monday was a blah day. I woke up with a headache at 2AM and it lasted all day. I had my smoothie for breakfast and a flatbread for lunch. Thankfully, I was in radiation, and it was a slower day. Once I got home from work, I went straight to bed and slept until 5AM.
Tuesday

I woke up early to do my favorite Yoga with Adriene video before work. I’ve been doing yoga off and on for a few years, but I am definitely still a beginner. I would like to advance my skills this upcoming year and need to find a studio I like so I will be more accountable! I love my YouTube videos, but I also like being in a group and having someone there to help me with my form.
I had my smoothie for breakfast, Qdoba for lunch, and we grilled out for dinner! The weather was so beautiful, and Kyle is a grill master.
Wednesday
I had my breakfast smoothie again. Chance was not ready to get out of bed so I bundled him up, and he stayed like this for a while! Cracks me up.

Then I headed in to work in radiation today and a patient brought us donuts from Quack Daddy Donuts. Quack Daddy’s is a little donut shop in Pendleton, and they have the BEST donuts. If you are ever close, you have to stop by. I tried half of a cinnamon glazed and half of a strawberry (which they call their breast cancer awareness donut).
Lunch was turkey and cheese sticks, pretzels, tomato slices, an apple, and almonds. Dinner was BLTs and cheese itz.
Thursday
Breakfast was my smoothie and lunch was salad and a breadstick from Olive Garden.
When I got home, Chance and I went on a 3 mile walk. It said it was 80 degrees out but there must have been zero humidity because it felt amazing! Then we headed home to do our daily chores and wait patiently for Kyle to come home. See how Chance is staring right at the door? It’s like he knows the exact time Kyle is supposed to get off work.

Dinner was salad and thin crust homemade pizza. Then we watched Fractured on Netflix before heading to bed. It was super suspenseful and totally threw me for a loop. I’m usually good at predicting the ends of stories but not this time! But if you’re looking for a happy ending, this movie is not it. But it’s still good!
Friday
My breakfast smoothie plus a cup of spinach for breakfast and a salad with chicken tenders for lunch.
It was pouring down rain when I got home so I didn’t go on the walk I was wanting to go on with Chance. When I was in show choir, our dance numbers were the best workouts ever. So as ridiculous as it sounds, I turned on my favorite high school musical songs and danced my heart out for about 30 minutes. I was panting and sweating so much after this work out! I also had a blast 🙂
Once Kyle got home, we headed to our favorite Mexican restaurant for fajitas and margs! We got home around 9:30 and went straight to bed.
Saturday
I didn’t take a whole lot of pictures on Saturday because we did absolutely nothing! Kyle worked two 13 hour shifts on Thursday and Friday and works two more on Sunday and Monday so it was good to get in a lot of laziness for him!
Chance soaked up the laziness too! I mean, he couldn’t even hold his own head up. Also, doordash is one of our new favorite things. If you haven’t tried it, you’re going to be addicted to the convenience. We started watching The Sinner on Saturday morning and binge watched it all day! It is soooooo good! If you can get past some of the graphic and sex scenes (there are quite a few which I hate), the story is suspenseful and will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time!
Sunday
Kyle had to go back to work today so I am using my time to get a few things done around the house:
- Write blog posts
- Take Chance on a walk
- Switch out summer clothes for winter clothes (and organize closet)
- Fold laundry
- Plan chores/meals for the week
- Grocery list
