The Best Ever Facemasks!

Taking care of your skin is more important than covering it up.

Unknown

Up until my senior year of college, I had ZERO issues with my skin. No blackheads, acne, discoloration, or blemishes. I was lucky!

Then BOOM. My luck ran out, and my skin went nuts. My T- Zone (the area between my eyebrows straight down to my chin and across my cheekbones) became super oily and I had a ton of blackheads/big pores, and I would get super painful patches of acne on my forehead and my chin. I attributed some of it to my diet and cleaning that up has helped a bit. But I still struggle a lot with oiliness, clogged pores, and painful acne.

After trying tons of facemasks, I have put together a list of my all time favorites. These actually help me and are not just talk. They each work a little differently so I use them each at different times, depending on how much time I have or what skin issue I am having. My list below includes all of my favorite facemasks and believe me, I have tried a TON! *Affiliate links included 🙂

The first one on my list is the Avocado and Oatmeal Clay Mask by Freeman.

This mask is so soothing, smells amazing, and the color is so fun! After I use it, my skin instantly feels firmer, smoother, and my pores shrink. It also helps calm my painful break outs and makes them less painful. On Amazon, you can get 2/$6.99 which is an awesome deal! It also only takes 10 minutes to work so I can squeeze that in whenever! I’ve included the link here. Freeman makes a ton of awesome facemasks, and I can’t wait to try more of them!

The next mask on my list is the Charcoal and Diamond Facial Mask by Masked Beauty.

Charcoal has so many amazing benefits, and this facemask is no exception. This mask makes my skin feel so rejuvenated afterwards. It calms my breakouts and evens out my skin tones. It only has to stay on for 5-10 minutes, and it costs $10 on Amazon. You can buy it here!

Next mask is Toning Red Clay Facial Mask by Masked Beauty.

This mask is created by the same company as the charcoal mask above. It has the same rejuvenating and calming properties as well, but it also helps even my skin tones. I develop red patches on my face sometimes and I also have scars from past acne, and this mask helps even those out so much! It’s just for 5-10 minutes, and it costs $8.75 on Amazon. Link here 🙂

The next mask on the list is Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask by Elizavecca Milky Piggy.

This mask is unlike any mask I have ever tried! As soon as you put it on your face, it actually starts to bubble and pulse on your skin. I actually liked the way it felt haha. It bubbles up as it soaks up the oil on my face, and only takes about 5 minutes to totally work. Just be SUPER careful when you rinse it off. It bubbles up so much that it becomes really thick which makes it really easy to get in your eyes (yes, that’s from experience). It costs $8.95 on Amazon, and the link is here!

The next mask is the Dead Sea Mud Mask by Aria Starr.

About a year ago, I kept hearing amazing things about this mask so I decided to give it a shot. It definitely lived up to the hype! It glides on to my skin super easy and doesn’t drip if I need to keep working on things around the house when it is still on. It deeply exfoliates my skin, helps get rid of my blackheads and acne on my forehead, and doesn’t dry my skin out. This one is a couple more dollars than the others ($13.95), but it comes in a much bigger jar. The link is here!

My second to last “mask” is a Pore Peeling mask by Tsururi.

Okay so this isn’t exactly a mask. It’s obviously in a different language so I had to do some research to see how to use it and look at reviews. I read a ton of good stuff about it so I thought I would give it a shot. It is so awesome! So after I wash my face, I rub a small amount of this on whatever area of my skin I have blackheads on. After a few minutes of lightly massaging it on my face, the mask balls up because it has collected all the dead skin on my face. Kinda gross, super cool! If you deal with blackheads, especially on your nose, I suggest trying this! It’s $11.94, and the link is here!

The last mask on my list is the Indian Healing Clay mask.

This mask is my ALL TIME FAVORITE, and is my go to for every skin problem. It literally makes all of my pores disappear, shrinks my acne, and balances my skin tones. I cannot say enough good things about this mask so please try it! It comes as a powder that you can either mix with water or apple cider vinegar. I find the vinegar works even better! It costs $9.99, and the link is here!

There we have it! My current, go to list of facemasks. I hope you add some to your collection and find that they help you as much as they help me! Please remember that taking time to take care of yourself is so incredibly important, and you do deserve it! Please let me know if you try any and your thoughts. 🙂

*Disclaimer. While I have used all of these masks multiple times and have had no issues, I am not a dermatologist nor do I know everything about skin. Everybody’s skin is also so different so always follow the directions and listen to your body.
