At orientation this week, we were asked to pick a card that had a quote we loved the most on it and write our name on the other side. This is the one I picked without even looking at the others. It’s been my favorite since I heard it in The Princess Diaries (no shame) when I was in middle school. I’ve been through many times of feeling insecure, bullied, and like I’m not enough and this quote has rang true through all of it.

The ONLY person who can give someone else permission to bring me down is me. I have 100% control on who I place my worth in. I know that I belong to Christ, and that everyone else’s opinion is water.

So please ladies, when someone says something about you that brings you down or makes you doubt who you are, remember this quote. Remember who you are and whose you are. Nothing else matters. ❤️
