Lots of Eats, Decorating, and a Shopping Spree!

Monday: Morning smoothie, yoga, work.

Lunch was grilled chicken and Caesar salad!

Once I got home, Kyle and I cleaned for a little bit because we didn’t have much time for chores over the weekend. Then we worked on cutting out the foam in one of his gun cases. It looks really good!

We got take out from Chuy’s for dinner. We would usually have a Blue Apron meal, but our box got lost in the mail this week! We are so sad. Blue Apron was so good about it though. They refunded us and credited our account $20. I thought that was pretty nice!

We spent the rest of the evening hanging out, and I fell asleep on the floor while Kyle finalized his case. Oops! I slept hard though. Yay!

Tuesday:

I was up by 5 and got back to cleaning up the kitchen. I feel so much better in a clean environment. When I was little, I couldn’t go to bed if my bed wasn’t made beforehand… ironic I know.

I then made my smoothie. I added a little almond butter and espresso mix to give it an extra boost. It did! I was definitely full until lunch.

Update on the smoothie: I will NOT be adding espresso to it again. I’ve only ever used it for baking, and I am going to stick to that. It made me feel so jittery, lightheaded, and crappy. My blood pressure and heart rate were up, and I felt like I was going to pass out. Never again!!

Chick fil a for lunch! Yay! There salad is 100% my favorite thing there. It’s so yummy!!

Another patient brought in mini donuts from Jack’s… I indulged! It was perfectly paired with black coffee.

After work, I went home and laid down. I’ve been having a really bad case of vertigo this week. I was lightheaded and dizzy all day. So weird!

Wednesday:

Morning smoothie, yoga, walk!

Lunch was way too good, and I ate WAY too much.

Once I got home, Chance and I headed out for a walk and then I made dinner.

I asked Kyle to pick up some carrots to make carrot fries, and this is what he brought home. How awesome are these?! 😂

I cut up the carrots into strips and put them on one pan along with two pieces of salmon. I marinated all of it with salt, pepper, sunflower oil, and Italian spice. I baked it at 400 for about 20 minutes. Yummy!! I love one pan meals. So easy!

Thursday:

I took Chance on a walk and did my morning yoga session prior to making my smoothie. I also wore my charcoal mask for about 20 minutes. My skin felt great afterwards!

I was watching a She Refined video and doing my devotional before heading to work and this was Chance in the background. Hahaha Sometimes he lays on pillows and other times he wants nothing to do with them.

Lunch was from Indy Fresh! I love this place! Grilled veggies, chicken, salmon, and salad with honey mustard dressing. So good!

I indulged a lot this week… haha perfect cookie and coffee pairing

My mom and I met at Pizza King for dinner! Hawaiian pizza is the best. We sat there for about 4 hours just talking. I love those nights!

Friday:

I barely took any pictures today! My day started out as usual and once I got home, Chance and I headed out for a 2 mile walk.

It was so beautiful outside. It was so good to be out again after all the rain we’ve been having!

Dinner was SO GOOD! We had spicy rice, beef, and carrot bowls from Blue Apron. Definitely one of my favorites. The sauce on top is sour cream and cilantro.

We headed to bed early and slept hard.

Saturday:

Kyle had to work today so I was up with him at 4:30.

Chance and I headed out for a walk, and then I headed out to run a ton of errands. I went to Goodwill, TJMaxx, At Home, Home Goods, Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and Earth Fare. I found so many good things! I don’t go shopping besides for groceries very often so when I do, I go HARD!

TJMaxx has so many cute sweaters right now!! Here are two of them. I got so many… I also got these black jeans and the same ones in denim. So comfy!

I got this beautiful mum from Earth Fare, and I got the cushions from Home Goods.

I cleaned up the table by my front door and found this cute basket at goodwill! I need to go through the junk in it, but it definitely makes it cuter!

I picked up this desk organizer and the notebook in the back from TJMaxx to help organize all of my blog stuff! I do a lot better with cute tools. 😀

I found this cute little two story tray at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for 8 bucks! It organizes all of my products so much better than my basket and fits perfectly.

They might not look super organized in the pictures, but they are so much better now! I found the pantry baskets at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and the fridge containers at TJMaxx!

I found this super cute lap desk at TJMaxx! I had one that I loved, but Chance chewed it up when he was a puppy 😀 This one has a marble look, a place for papers, my phone, and my laptop. It also has an extra cushion you can fold out to prop it up higher. I’m using it right now, and it’s a game changer!

Last night, Kyle said he was craving brownies so I picked up the ingredients while I was out. I haven’t used this mix before, but I love to try gluten free recipes! I’ll let you know his verdict later 🙂

Chance and I are going to head out for a one mile run now. Then Kyle and I are going to a cute little pub to watch the big fight tonight. hahaha I know, funny. We love cheap entertainment and have fun watching things together!

      There’s just something about sleeping in a clean bed! So much better! I’m glad I’m not alone! 🙂 and you’re so right! It definitely hurts more when all the money comes out in one big chunk 😂
